Dr Magdalena Jaś-Nowopolska received the Dr Herbert Stolzenberg Award for Research in Social Sciences, Business, Economics, and Law in recognition of her outstanding achievement and special commitment to her research project Freedom of Economic Activities in Polish and German Legal Culture - A Comparative Legal Perspective (Original title: Freiheit der wirtschaftlichen Tätigkeiten in der polnischen und deutschen Rechtskultur – eine rechtsvergleichende Perspektive).

Juliana González Villamizar received the r Herbert Stolzenberg Award for Research in Social Sciences, Business, Economics, and Law in recognition of her outstanding achievement and special commitment in the field of peace and conflict research with a focus on transitional justice and the Colombian Truth Commission, as well as through empirical field research among indigenous and Afro-Colombian victims of the armed conflict.
