Grants
As students of Justus Liebig University Giessen you may receive financial support within the Erasmus+ Traineeship programme for internships abroad both directly channelled and administered by JLU Giessen and in the framework of membership in a mobility consortium (Regional Contact Point for EU Placements in Fulda).
Grants through the university
In the 2014-2021 Erasmus+ period, the monthly rates are calculated according to the cost of living in different groups of countries. Check the country you are planning to visit below for the value of the grant you can expect.

Grants through the Regional Contact Point for EU Placements
Grants for internships carried out in the second half of the academic year (beginning from 1 April 2018 onwards) will be provided through the Regional Contact Point in Fulda. You will be supervised by your contact partners at JLU before, during and after the internship.

Financial contribution towards language classes
We may be able to give you a maximum of € 200 towards the fee for a language course held at a university or at a language centre at the locality of your internship abroad before or during your internship. Please provide us with a certificate of the language course and proof of payment of the invoice.
