Who is eligible for funding?
International students may be supported if they
- are enrolled in bachelor's and master's programmes or state examination programmes
- are pursuing a degree at JLU (no exchange students, free movers, German language course participants, or Studienkolleg participants),
- are in the final phase of their studies (maximum 12 months before graduation) and have gained at least half of the required achievements in the respective degree programme (e.g. at least 90 credits in the bachelor, at least 60 credits in the master),
- are staying in Germany during the funding period,
- do not receive another scholarship for the same purpose. Furthermore, simultaneous support by the International Office, the Förderverein für unschuldig in Not geratene Studierende e.V. – Solifonds, the Catholic Student Community (KHG) as well as the Protestant Student Community (ESG) is excluded.
