Funding:

The high-resolution scanning electron microscope was funded by the "European Regional Development Fund" for the field of energy conversion and storage, specifically for solid-state batteries. Achieving the best possible sustainability of modern technologies is a key task that determines not only long-term ecological and economic success, but increasingly also social acceptance. With this project, the ZfM is employing an approach to develop sustainable technologies that can only be successfully pursued with an appropriate infrastructure.
