Further Information
The orientation days begin with an opening event for all new Master’s students.
After the welcome, you will be assigned mentors who will help you settle in. Together, you will familiarise yourselves with the most important systems and organisational procedures, and time has been set aside for individual questions. International students will also be informed about the services offered by the International Office.
If possible, please set aside the entire two days for your orientation. It is well worth it, both for the information provided and for making your first contacts during your Master’s programme!
Please bring a laptop with you, as you will also receive an introduction to the electronic systems. However, it is perfectly possible to attend without a laptop.
In addition, the subject-specific advisory services offer subject-specific sessions where you will have the opportunity to
- gain an insight into the course structure and module content,
- seek advice on timetable planning and course selection,
- and discuss individual study-related questions with lecturers.
