Two Collaborative Research Centers enter the third funding period until 2022 - DFG promotes research on chromatin alterations and pneumonia

Two special research areas are entering the third funding phase - some GGL alumni still know these from their doctoral studies. The German Research Foundation (DFG) approved the continuation of the Collaborative Research Center / Transregio (SFB / TRR) 81 "Chromatin Changes in Differentiation and Malignancy" (https://www.uni-giessen.de/fbz/fb08/trr81) and the SFB / TRR 84 "Innate Immunity of the Lung: Mechanisms of Pathogen Attack and Host Defense in Pneumonia" (https://www.sfb-tr84.de/).
