Unterhalb dieser oberen Leiste schliesst sich die Hauptnavigation an. Unterhalb der Hauptnavigation befindet sich der Inhaltsbereich. Lab Rotation Abroad - Application deadline is expired!

If you are a GGL member who would like to go on a lab rotation abraod you will find more information about funding opportunities here. If planned thoroughly, lab rotations are highly beneficial for your own work. You get to know new methods, you have a chance to expand your professional as well as your personal network and get to know international organisation structures. Furthermore, our recipients are messengers of the GGL in their host labs, they create synergies with their home labs as well as the GGL.

Who is eligible for funding?

If you are currently a member of the GGL, you may apply for funding of a lab rotation.

What will be funded?

Only lab stays abroad will be funded - no conferences

How long should my stay in the other lab take?

Of course, you are free to stay in your host lab as long as it takes for you to finish your experiments, but for fairness' sake, funding is limited to 15 days per lab stay!

Is it possible to travel to my home country for a lab exchange?

No, you are supposed to travel to a different country for your lab exchange.

How much funding can I get?

Fixed rates according to the DAAD will be granted.

How do I apply?

Please use our submission form to apply for funding for your lab rotation. Please make sure to apply as early as possible to allow enough time for processing your application. Deadline for applications is March 15, 2019.
