Wencke Gwozdz ist seit 2018 Professorin für Versorgungs- und Verbrauchsforschung am und seit 2021 Prodekanin des Fachbereich Agrarwissenschaften, Ökotrophologie und Umweltmanagement der Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen. Sie hat in Wirtschaftswissenschaften an der Universität Hohenheim promoviert und verbrachte im Anschluss eine Dekade an der Copenhagen Business School in Dänemark. Als Verbraucherforscherin liegen ihre Forschungsinteressen vor allem im Bereich nachhaltiger Konsum, Gesundheitsverhalten und Verbraucherpolitik, mit einem besonderen Schwerpunkt auf Ernährung. Ihr Fokus liegt darauf, die Auswirkungen unseres Verbraucherverhaltens auf Individuen, die Umwelt und die Gesellschaft im Allgemeinen zu verstehen und Wege zu finden, Verhaltensänderungen zu fördern. In Bezug auf die Methodik ist sie auf quantitative Methoden spezialisiert, einschließlich Umfragen, Experience Sampling Methoden (ESM/EMA) oder Feldexperimente. Durch ihre umfangreiche Erfahrung in europäischen Forschungsprojekten wie IDEFICS, I.Family, Nudge-IT, Trash-2-Cash, PLAN’EAT oder DARWIN hat sei ein starkes interdisziplinäres Netzwerk aufgebaut. |
