Peculiarities during operation

The display in CRIS after logging into the system is unusual.

 

After importing new product versions of the CRIS system, an incorrect display could occur if information about the CRIS page is saved in your browser cache. In order to delete the browser cache and fix this error, please log into the system with your ID and network password and, once the overview page is showing, press CTRL + F5 simultaneously.

In spite of successful changes or after entering new data, information can be lost or incorrectly displayed.

These are some of the possible reasons:

1. When working with several browser tabs, it is possible to lose data or accidentally change it. One workaround for comparing and editing entries in CRIS is to log into two different browsers, e.g. Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome.

2. When linking other content, an exact match cannot be made. An exact match must occur, even if there is only one search result.

3. New links to different content are only saved if you explicitly save the data entry 'by itself'.
