At the end of February 2026, the current JLUBox/Hessenbox has been replaced by a new cloud storage solution. The next.hessenbox offers all the features you already know from JLUBox, but has a more modern interface and apps for all common operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android).
The next.Hessenbox can be accessed at the following address: https://next.hessenbox.de. After selecting “Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen,” you can log in with your usual credentials. Instructions for using the next.Hessenbox can be found on the website of the University of Kassel, which operates the next.Hessenbox for all universities in Hesse or on the webpages of out IT service center (HRZ).
