Macro-collection, histo-collection, wildlife pathological collection: In 1902, Prof. Dr. Adam Olt was appointed as full professor of pathological anatomy, animal hygiene, bacteriology, and meat inspection and became director of the Veterinary Pathological Institute. The rich collection of wildlife pathological specimens built up by Olt, who is regarded as the founder of wildlife pathology, has survived the turmoil of the war and post-war period in its essential parts and is accessible to the public today.
