Music pedagogic research: international connections 23.11.22

An online workshop for undergraduate, taught postgraduate and postgraduate researchers at the University of Leeds (UK) and the University of Gießen (Germany)
Wednesday 23 Nov 2022, 12-13.30 (Germany)/
11-12.30 (UK)

This workshop is the first in a series of events co-hosted by the Pedagogic Research in Music Cluster (University of Leeds) and the Institut für Musikwissenschaft und -pädagogik (University of Gießen). It is designed to bring together student researchers at all levels interested in music pedagogy. The workshop will provide a friendly, informal opportunity for students at both institutions to meet and to discuss their work and the role of music education in society in an increasingly globalised world.

The workshop will provide:

  • a chance to make global connections;
  • opportunities to share experiences, interests, to widen perspectives
  • a space to explore possibilities for future work and collaboration.

The workshop will be held in English.
